This year, the ITR World Tax 2027 Europe rankings, published by the globally renowned tax publication International Tax Review (ITR), assessed nearly 3,000 firms across 43 European jurisdictions.
WTS Klient recognised in a new practice area
As in previous years, WTS Klient received a Tier 2 ranking, reflecting excellent performance across all tax categories assessed by the ranking. For the first time this year, the firm’s performance was also recognised in the area of Tax Controversy, adding a new practice area to its rankings. In the list published at the end of October 2026, WTS Klient achieved Tier 2 status in four tax practice areas:

WTS Klient professionals recognised in the individual rankings
In addition to the firm rankings, ITR World Tax 2027 Europe also features several WTS Klient tax professionals in its individual practitioner rankings. These rankings take into account practitioners’ achievements in their respective fields, their involvement in significant projects, and feedback received from clients and market participants.
- Réka Kiss, Tax Director of WTS Klient, received a Highly Regarded ranking in General Corporate Tax.
- Tamás Gyányi, Senior Partner of WTS Klient, received a Highly Regarded ranking in Indirect Tax.
- András Szadai, Partner, Head of Tax Services at WTS Klient, received a Highly Regarded ranking in Indirect Tax.
- Tamás László, Tax Director of WTS Klient, was recognised as a Rising Star in Indirect Tax.
- Zoltán Cseri, Senior Tax Manager of WTS Klient, was recognised as a Rising Star in Indirect Tax.
According to the rankings, Tamás Gyányi and András Szadai are among Hungary’s nine leading indirect tax advisers, while Réka Kiss ranks among the country’s four leading corporate tax practitioners. This year marks the fourth consecutive appearance of Tamás László and Zoltán Cseri among the ITR ranking’s “Rising Stars”. This year, only eight professionals in Hungary received this distinction.
These individual recognitions complement WTS Klient’s Tier 2 rankings across four tax practice areas and further strengthen the firm’s position in the Hungarian tax advisory market.
