The end of the year is drawing closer, a time usually packed with presentations on the tax laws coming next year.
Keeping track of tax changes is an arduous task in itself. But now we are organising a conference on what is strategically a much more important topic.
On 28 November 2017 the German-Hungarian Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Joint Venture Association and the Swiss-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce are to hold a joint Tax Strategy Day with professional support from WTS Klient Adótanácsadó Kft. at the Aquincum Hotel in Budapest’s 3rd district.
We are planning a day when the three players, the government, companies and professional consultants, can sit down at the table to discuss tax experiences of the last 5-10 years, and make recommendations for the main paths to follow in the next 5-10 years, even addressing specific measures.
We have invited Mihály Varga, Minister of Economy, Norbert Izer, Deputy State Secretary responsible for tax regulation and accounting, and Csilla Tamásné Czinege, Deputy State Secretary responsible for taxation, to give presentations and participate in panel discussions.
The tax directors of the largest Hungarian companies (including Audi, Mol, Robert Bosch, Telekom and E.on) have already agreed to not only attend the event but also to participate in the discussions.
