We think it is particularly important that the information needed to make management decisions is given to our clients in the desired format. This is why financial reporting forms an integral part of our comprehensive accounting services for the majority of our clients and based on their needs.
During the development of the bookkeeping system we take into account the structure of the reports to be made, and even roll out cost-centre accounting or possibly alternative general ledger account numbers. In the latter case we ensure compliance between the parent company’s chart of accounts and that of the Hungarian entity. Where necessary we carry out the bookkeeping according to the system and chart of accounts developed by the parent company, which makes it much easier to put group reports together. We have substantial experience in reporting tasks for many international groups of companies, compiled according to IFRS, US GAAP or German GAAP (HGB) rules as required. We strive to leverage this experience for the benefit of our clients.
If necessary we can support our clients’ operations with other data reporting and reports, be they bank reports or accounts receivable. When preparing the reports we try and make the most of the flexibility of our bookkeeping system and the solutions offered. The reports compiled based on the bookkeeping figures are prepared after checks carried out on the base data. We use checklists developed in advance under our ISO 9001 procedures during monthly and annual reporting, thereby ensuring that all the accounting information is checked. Reports tailored to the company’s needs are compiled by our experienced staff, and so we strive to ensure the content of the documents is reliably authentic to serve as the basis for management decisions. Our staff liaise in foreign languages with the reporting teams of the foreign parent company, and adhere stringently to the reporting deadlines set for them. When compiling period reports we focus on clarifying the issues that arise to ensure the annual close goes as smoothly as possible.
We analyse the prepared reports during face-to-face discussions if required, as well as offering support to our clients with preparing plans and forecasts. In other special cases we put together data reports for banks based on ad-hoc demands, or even as part of leniency applications submitted to authorities. We strive to ensure that our clients know and understand the data and connections underlying the reports, to which end we try to respond as quickly and in as much detail as possible to any questions that arise.
