After the South American tax market WTS Global now strengthens its footprint in North America by opening US desk in New York and San Francisco. With this step WTS Global is moving closer to its member firms’ US-headquartered clients and will better support European and other international clients doing business in the United States.
Three months after the cooperation agreement with LATAXNET, which enabled top-tier coverage in South America, strengthens WTS Global its position now also in North America. From 1 September, the Dutch tax lawyer Mark van der Linden leads WTS Global new offices in the United States as Chief Operating Officer. With 25 years of global tax experience, of which 17 years were spent living and working in the US, he is highly qualified to be the first point of contact for both US multinationals seeking to invest outside the United States as well as European multinationals planning to do business in the US. Understanding the culture on both sides, Mark is ideally positioned to bridge, coordinate and set up teams between the US and WTS Global members throughout the world.

This exciting step forward is timed immaculately with the tax developments in the US and EU/OECD member states, which provides a need for every taxpayer to re-evaluate and potentially redesign their international operational and tax structure”, Mark van der Linden states.
Mark will work closely together with WTS Global member firms in the United States – Global Tax Management (GTM) and Economics Partners, a high-profile Transfer Pricing boutique firm.
